The Village of Colfax has joined a new communications system program called NIXLE. It is a service that is provided to the Village of Colfax free of charge that allows you to recieve trusted up-to-the-minute neighborhood information. This system allows the Village to send messages to our citizens about community information (ex: hydrant flushing, boil orders, early dismissal of schools, etc.), alerts about crime, weather or other emergencies as well as any information pertaining to the Citizens of Colfax. It will send a message out to you however you choose to have it sent, either by the website, email, or even a text. To register and be able to receive the messages you MUST register on the NIXLE website. To register go to www.nixle.com and register by clicking on the button that states "REGISTER NOW! ITS FREE AND EASY". For assistance in registering contact Police Chief Mike Scott or Village Clerk Nancy Kiper.
