���� The Village of Colfax has�joined a new communications system program called NIXLE.� It is a service that is provided to the Village of Colfax free of charge�that allows you to recieve trusted up-to-the-minute neighborhood information.� This system allows the Village to send messages to our citizens about community information (ex: hydrant flushing, boil orders, early dismissal of schools, etc.), alerts about crime, weather or other emergencies as well as any information pertaining to the Citizens of Colfax.� It will send a message out to you however you choose to have it sent, either by the website, email, or even a text.� To register and be able to receive the messages you MUST register on the NIXLE website.� To register�go to www.nixle.com and register by clicking on the button that states "REGISTER NOW! ITS FREE AND EASY".� For assistance in registering�contact Police Chief Mike Scott or Village Clerk Nancy Kiper.
