Notice of Proposed Property Tax Increase for the Village of Colfax.
A public hearing to approve a proposed tax levy increase for the Village of Colfax for 2024 payable in 2025 will be held on Monday, December 9, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. at the Colfax Village Hall at 307 N. Harrison Street.
Any person desiring to appear at the public hearing and present testimony to the taxing district may contact Larry K. Dodds, Mayor of Colfax, 307 N. Harrison Steet, Colfax, IL 61728 (309) 723-3261.
The total property taxes extended or abated for Tax Year 2023 payable in 2024 were $146,178.64.
The estimated total property taxes to be levied for 2024 payable in 2025 are $163,669.30
