   Police Chief Ritchie Cooper along with the Police Officers keep crime to a minimum and make the Village of Colfax a safe place to live.

   The Colfax Fire Department has been an established member of Colfax for many years.

   The current roster of firefighters are also First Responders and respond to all medical calls as well as fire calls.

   Fire Chief Randy Zielsdorf and all firefighters have taken the Firefighter II class and are well trained in all aspects of their duties.
