10. OLD BUSINESS:
A. Consideration of Ordinance No. 2021-08, An Ordinance Amending Chapter 12.07 of the Municipal Code of the Village of Colfax, McLean County, Illinois Regarding Garbage and Refuse.
B. Consideration of Ordinance No. 2021-09, An Ordinance Amending the Zoning Ordinance of the Municipal Code of the Village of Colfax, McLean County, Illinois Regarding Parking & Storage of Recreational Vehicles and Farm Equipment, after considering the recommendation of the Village of Colfax Zoning Board of Appeals.
C. Approval to award the contract to McLean County Asphalt for street resurfacing in the southwest part of the Village for the Summer of 2021 at a cost of $37,350.00.
D. Approval to award the contract to H.J. Eppel & Co., Inc for the widening of Winget Drive in the Summer of 2021 at a cost of $32,998.35.
11. NEW BUSINESS:
A. Proposal from the Colfax Restoration Project for subletting the Village Hall to Pop-Up Shop Businesses.
B. Information about Colfax End of Summer Celebration on August 21, 2021.
C. Authorization to sign the Animal Control Shelter Agreement between McLean County and the Village of Colfax for the county to provide shelter for all stray dogs or cats at a cost of $50 per animal.
D. Accept resignation of Niko Lullo as part-time police officer and remove from approved roster.
E. Approve the employment of Justin Givens as part-time police officer at a rate of $16.00 per hour.
F. Authorizing the emergency tile work on the storm tile between West North Street and West Main Street due to heavy infestation of tree roots to be paid for out of the Storm Water Fund (balance of $37,6215.31).
G. Discussion and action related to hiring a full-time Assistant Superintendent of Maintenance to assist with numerous tasks and responsibilities of the maintenance department.
