A. Continued discussion of stop signs versus yield signs, recommended new stop signs and other traffic concerns
a) Stop sign instead of yield sign at Center & Wood.
b) Put new stop sign at corner of Winget & Ceilo View, due to increased traffic on Winget going to Dollar General.
c) Other suggestions.
B. Approval of Ordinance No. 2020-06 βAn Ordinance Accepting Bid
and Authorizing the Sale of Village-Owned Real Estate.
11. NEW BUSINESS:
A. Chestnut Mobile Testing Unit for COVID-19 to be in Colfax on
July 23, 2020 β Free testing.
B. Action for purchase of backhoe (see separate summary)
C. Authorize opening savings accounts for the following funds:
a) Maintenance Equipment and Vehicles
b) Emergency Management Agency (EMA)
c) Sidewalk Improvement
D. Discussion regarding designating a new Village of Colfax
Engineer to perform needed functions related to water, sewer,
drainage, MFT Funds and other activities.
E. Preliminary discussion about sidewalks and sidewalk repairs for
the Village and ideas for achieving.
12. PUBLIC COMMENTS β ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA- 5 minute
limit per person.
13. Executive Session to consider appointment, employment,
compensation, discipline, performance or dismissal of village
employees.
