The special meeting of the Village Board of Colfax was called to order on Monday evening, May 9, 2011 at 6:30 p.m. by Mayor Ricardo Onken.

   Trustees present were:  Rick Vance - Aye; David Rathke - Aye; Jason Pierce - Aye; Carol Stephenson - Aye; Rick Wagoner - Aye;   Trustee Lonnie Meiner was absent.

   Ric Onken explained that this special meeting was called to approve the CIRBN Agreement with Illinois State University.  Ric explained that Village Attorney Tom Shields read the agreement and contacted Ric and stated it is good.  Ric explained some of the main parts of the agreement to the Board.

   Trustee David Rathke made a motion to approve the Agreement between ISU concerning CIRBN and the Village of Colfax and to authorize the Mayor to sign the agreement.  Trustee Carol Stephenson seconded the motion.  Vote:  Rick Vance - Aye; David Rathke - Aye; Jason Pierce - Aye; Carol Stephenson - Aye; Lonnie Meiner - Absent; Rick Wagoner - Aye; Motion carried.

   Trustee Carol Stephenson made a motion to adjourn.  Trustee Rick Vance seconded the motion.  Vote:  Rick Vance - Aye; David Rathke - Aye; Jason Pierce - Aye; Carol Stephenson - Aye; Lonnie Meiner - Absent; Rick Wagoner - Aye; Motion carried.

   Meeting adjourned at 6:45 p.m.
