Crime stops here with the Colfax Police Department always on duty.

Police Chief Michael Scott along with Police Officers Ritchie Cooper, Damon Getty, Bob Brandt, Josh Saathoff, Michael Lay, Dustin Carter, and Kelly Gordon keep crime to a minimum and make the Village of Colfax a safe place to live.

The Colfax Fire Department has been an established member of Colfax for many years. The current roster of firefighters are also First Responders and respond to all medical calls as well as fire calls. Fire Chief Randy Zielsdorf and all of the firefighters have taken the firefighter 2 class and are well trained in all aspects of their duties.
